Touchdown I'm at my parent's place in Nagoya - it's frigging tiny! It's like those little Ikea showrooms where each piece of furniture serves 4 different functions and folds up out of the way hidden. Interior design from the land of Autobots. They hooked me up with my own apartment through the university and I thought that was overkill when they first mentioned it - not anymore! I see the light. My dad's laptop has a super slow but ultracool wireless connection that you can roam the city with. It's not like wi-fi, where you have to be at some access point to use; it's more like a cell phone. Ok, we're off to see the sights. It's 11am and first it's Nagoya Castle, then brunch at Takashimaya Towers, then Osu Cannon Shrine to see the temple and nearby technology district. I'll write again tonight when we're relaxing at home.
