brett and I are partying like the coolest people ever, morning be damned. ipod hooked up to the cool tv, playing the strokes, with the tivo playing back an old episode of the star trek next generation. a little modern-day Pink Floyd action.

noon to afternoon: we went on down to Parsons, I sat in on Brett's class about game design. We played an interesting game called Mafia, where Brett was immediately the first to speak and attempted to sell me out as a potential villain. Bastard. Proceeded down to soho, visited the Apple Store where a very cool employee gave me a free replacement part for my iPod earbuds that came off during the security search at LAX. We poked around southern Manhattan some more, talked about some big ideas the entire time, debated like champs, ended up at a little Belgian bar consuming raspberry beer, hot fries and steaming mussels. After Brett left to meet up with his wife Emily, I hung out there until my ex showed up. We went to a little Mexican place, had a small amount of grub and a large amount of catching up, then proceeded on over to an tiny place called Jigsaw to meet back up with Brett, Emily and our common friend Courtney, someone from back in my theater days and that I haven't seen in years. The drinking was fun, the scene was small but friendly and good times were had by all. After a long commute back to Brett's pad out at the last stop towards the Bronx, we plopped down on the couch and played a few games on his modded Xbox, until I had to put an end to the fun and go to bed.
