No, no, I'm not starting another pointless what-the-hell-do-we-call-ourselves debate (note: I like "web designer" just fine, thank you) but I'd definitely like to see some consolidation in methodologies. That's why I appreciate this: User Experience Diagram Rationalization, a cute amalgamation of 4 prominant web guru charts into 1.
Also, there's a home-grown event that's trying to get the Experience Design bus running again and it looks fun: AIGA XD3 on November 18th, featuring Stardust.tv and put together by our own John Dennis for the local AIGA chapter.
