Mmm... del.icio.us Tastes Great

Just trying out some more blog tool goodness - this is a test post to see if I can pull Merlin's del.icio.us bookmarks out as a list of headlines from his feed and slap them into my sidebar, thanks to Jeff Veen's little how-to. I really didn't see the hype behind del.icio.us until I installed the A9 toolbar in Firefox and started annotating web pages with the "Diary" feature, which was way cool. Right off the bat, I started wishing I could share my finds with friends or export out that data for other uses, which is when I started to see the light about what del.icio.us was trying to do. We'll see if the hype was worth it...
BTW, Merlin runs the outstanding productivity-focused blog 43Folders, a very addictive repository of tools and lifehacks.
Update: holy shit, that worked like a charm. Next up, replace Merlin's links with my own, surf the net like usual during one of my morning rounds, bookmark pages and annotate quick notes about interesting stuff, and then watch them automagically pop up on my sidebar! I can tell I'll be sucking on this del.icio.us crack pipe for a while.
