Redesign In The Works

Okay kids, time to bring the design eye for programmer guy - I'm redesigning my website and would love some feedback:

I've been noodling on this for about a week. Those of you that I've already bugged about it have seen previous versions and hopefully will find the latest to be tighter (no one's seen them before this morning).

Line up the bats and have it, please, I definitely appreciate design crits. This is the most public I've been about my design process and the open source-inspired approach has been pretty fun so far!
